Diane Pellini and Liis Windischmann met over 6 years ago at a fashion casting in Miami and instantly became the best of friends. Ever since then, they have wanted to collaborate on a creative project that would celebrate curvaceous beauty. They have always felt that the world needs more truly creative photography featuring beautiful, voluptuous women. Each year they kept putting it off yet another year until finally this summer they put their heads together and decided the time had come to create something special. Not easily dissuaded by the fact that they were already a good 6 months behind, they forged ahead, pulling together The Fenomenal Calendar 2007 in under 2 months.
Liis and Diane want to offer more than just a calendar. They want to bring messages of positivity and empowerment through the beautiful images and philosophy of this project and also through the fact that Fenomenal is the first "Interactive Calendar". The way it works is simple - each month you will notice amongst the traditional holidays, a day highlighted by a pink star. This represents your chance each month to do something special for yourself or someone you love or just because it also invites you to come to the website and explore Inspiration Monthly. There you will find interviews with fascinating individuals, tips on how to make the best of your special day and so much more. After looking through the calendar, please send us your stories or ideas pertaining to the special holidays, something to inspire others. Some of your stories or ideas will be posted in Inspiration Monthly. This calendar represents the first of many more amazing projects that will feature beautiful women, always starting at a size 12. There is a need to create not just a calendar, but a place where beauty, diversity, creativity, spirituality and womanhood is celebrated in the most voluptuous way.
